Since the Fukushima Desaster at 311 we have been protesting against nukes EVERY SINGLE DAY for ONE YEAR at any weather condition in front of the Chancelor Merkel Seat from 6 pm to 7 pm. We are still there, each monday and thursday. We urge the German government to bring to an end all nukes plants IMMEDIATELY - worldwide! We won’t give in, fighting nukes for 35 years and more. Shut down the shit!

Come to join us! See you in Berlin. In solidarity

“The Solution to Our Problem”

I presented the problem as a math equation. The solution is simple.

Erin Bratton

“Be the Change”

I took a minimalistic approach and used a simple design to convey a type of natural resource available to use for energy as apposed to nuclear energy. Quote is from Ghandi: “Be the change you wish to see.”

Myles Brinkley

“Preserve Japan; Not Nuclear Power”

By choosing to continue using Nuclear power as a source of energy, Japan is deciding to provide for a future for itself much like its past. At the same time, not only do the people suffer from radiation, but when a person passes away, so does Japanese homes; so do Japanese Families; and most of all, a bit of Japanese culture is removed from the world for good. Let’s build a bright future for the children and people of Japan.

Samantha Hurley

“No Nukes Is Good Nukes”

A simple poster with a green background gradient, and the text “No Nukes is Good Nukes.” (A play on the pun “no news is good news”.) Text is green, in a stencil font, and the O in “No” is the radiation symbol with a line through it.

Rebekah Garza

You can choose natural energy (heaven) or nuclear plants (Hell)

Myles Brinkley

“Substitute Energy”

Wind is a resource that is oftentimes taken for granted. Instead of an unstable resource like nuclear power, wind could be used as a controllable, natural, re-usable, and safe resource to create electricity, and would keep the people of Japan safe.

Hannah Little

“Daisy Bombs”

It took me a while to think of an idea that I thought would be good enough to post. Then one day while sitting in my Art History class, I suddenly pictured a little girl picking daisy petals saying “maybe he loves me…maybe not…” and the idea just became clear. I live by a nuclear power plant and my city is under the constant worry of it blowing up on us, whether they are consciously aware of it or not. Any town that lives under the same conditions probably thinks the same thing…Maybe it will blow…maybe not?
